What is self-storage?
Self-storage is an easy flexible solution to your need for additional space. We offer secure, clean and dry individual, private rooms, which can be used to store almost anything that you don’t have space for. With almost 30 sizes to choose from you can be sure that we will be able to meet your needs.

How do I pay?
On the day your storage starts, you will need to pay for the first 4 weeks in advance and provide us with a credit or debit card number to retain on file for any future payments. You don’t need to worry about anything else; we will send you invoices and automatically take future payments from your card.

How do I know how much space I will need?
Easy – just give your local site a call and discuss the items you need to store. They will be able to guide you towards the most appropriate sized unit for your needs.

Are there any hidden charges?
No. The only thing you pay for is the weekly rental for the storage unit and any insurance cover you need.

What happens if I need more or less space?
Don’t worry, you are able to move to larger or smaller units, as your storage needs change. If you only need extra space for a short period, you can just take out an additional unit.

How soon can I start storing?
You can move your goods in as soon as you like. We always have availability so give your local site a call and they can guide you towards the best size for your needs.

Do my goods need to be insured?
Yes, they do. Insurance for the goods is required whilst they are stored here, although it does not have to be through us. You can take our own block policy cover if you wish, which costs just 90p per £1000 of cover, per week. If you have a policy that covers the goods whilst they are in store, we will just ask to keep a copy of your policy details on file and you must ensure the policy does not lapse.

What do I need to bring with me when I start my storage?

  • Two forms of ID. One must be photographic ID such as a passport or driving licence. The other must be a recent utility bill or bank statement.
  • Details of an emergency contact for you.
  • Credit / Debit Card.

Will my goods be safe?
It is your unit, so you have to lock it. You must provide your own padlock for the unit and you keep the keys, we don’t ask you for a key. You control who can access your unit, we just need to know their names. Digital CCTV covers the facility 24/7 and our team monitor access on and off the site. Out of hours, the building is fully alarmed and linked to a monitoring control station and the emergency services.

What is the minimum rental period?
Our prices are based on a 4-week agreement with a 28-day minimum stay. For a small premium, we can accommodate your needs should you need storage on a 7 day basis.

How much notice do I need to give?
We ask for just 14 days notice of your intention to vacate your unit and this can be given in writing or by email.

Can I access my goods?
Yes, access is easy! You can gain entry to your storage units as often as you wish during our opening hours. There is no charge for access, we just ask you to sign in on arrival and sign out as you leave.

Can I store anything?
Almost! Some items are prohibited from storage for safety and security reasons. They are items such as Drugs, Stolen Items, Firearms & Ammunition etc. A full list can be found by clicking here.

Do you sell packing materials and boxes?
Yes we do. In fact we sell a full range of packing materials and moving accessories, which will all help your move go a little more smoothly.
